Our practice is derived from Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg ... writing spontaneously in the flow.

The Chaffee County Writers Exchange
sponsors morning writing sessions
FREE and OPEN to the public
These free, half-day sessions are an opportunity to strengthen our mind-pen (or mind-keyboard) connection by writing freely as we follow prompts and/or instruction from a presenter. Our practice is derived from Writing Down the Bones by Natalie Goldberg. If you are interested in writing with us, we encourage you to come for the fun. For more about our methodology, see Goldberg practice or better yet, join in on a WE Write and see for yourself!
WHEN and WHERE
CCWE WE Write writing sessions occur more frequently and more randomly than the title suggests, but they're usually on a Monday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Zoom. Pre-pandemic and Social Distancing Guidelines, we alternate in central Colorado between Salida, Buena Vista, and Leadville, using other locations on special occasions. Get free email alerts! Sign up on this Home Page at the "Butterfly". Join our WE Write Zoom Session here.
WHAT TO BRING
Paper and pen or laptop, a snack and drink at your side while on Zoom.
